Wellington based Crafty m.e. is a run by sisters Megan and Erin.
Our designs are colourful and fun and the fabrics are natural. We have developed our love of crafts over 23 years of craft making.
We came up with the idea of knit-a-thons because we saw a need in our local community and firmly believe in giving something back. We like to use our traditional talents in sewing and knitting to help change New Zealand for the better - one stitch at a time.
Our family has a long history of crafts. Mum taught us to sew and knit before we went to kindergarten – she didn’t have a choice really because we insisted. Both Mum and Dad have been a strong influence and encouraged us with our crafts.
We love learning; Erin has just completed a Diploma in Fashion and Design through Massey University, and Megan has a Certificate in Visual Arts as well as a BA. This has helped Crafty m.e. to achieve a high standard and steadfast reputation for good quality crafts.
